Robert was a farmer and a Civil War Veteran, enlisting 13 August 1862 into Company D, 84th Indiana Infantry. He received a disability payment of $6 per month for his injuries in the war. Robert served four years as a county commissioner.
Dr. Benjamin Kelso Snodgrass was the son of Dr. Benjamin Duley Snodgrass. B.K. practiced in Union City, Indiana.
Died at home in Yorktown, Indiana. His son, Benjamin Kelso Snodgrass was a practicing physician in Union City.
His brother’s biography in the Portrait and Record for Randolph and Delaware County 1894 has information about Ben’s father and mother.
